Born in Los Angeles December 1982, Garibaldi showed an interest in art and music from nearly the start, and doodling on practically anything in sight. He also began playing the trumpet in the fourth grade and continued throughout high school, where he attempted to juggle art with his music. Garibaldi gained a new perspective and a motivation that prepared him for challenges to come.
Throughout his senior year in high school, David studied animation with a teacher who prepared a professional work environment for his students.
